Today is Sunday and that means another challenge at STAMPTACULAR SUNDAYS CHALLENGE. Our theme this week is a SKETCH CHALLENGE. For this week's challenge, you will create a card using the sketch below. You are free to flop it, twist it, or turn it but please be sure we can still see the original sketch in your final results! Oh, and don't forget to STAMP!!!
PRIZE: WINNER'S CHOICE OF 3 DIGIS
For my card, I selected "Tilda Winding Flowers" by Magnolia. It has been a while since I colored a Magnolia image and she was so much fun to work with. She is colored with copic markers (B99,97, 95, 93,91 and R39, 85, 83, 81 and a little RV 66 plus BV 29 for deeper contrast). I have a fondness for Magnolia images as they were the very first images I was introduced to at my very first copic class taught by Michele Spera of Magical Creative Inspiration. I still have my skin and hair color practice sheets featuring all those blank Tilda head shots! These stamps have become more beautiful since the first time I saw them years ago!
I used Pion Design Papers and Bazill cardstock. I love these papers. They come on one 12x12 sheet but the sheet contains four 6" coordinated pieces of cardstock making it so easy to coordinate colors. The garlands in her hand and in her hair are "dotted" with V's, RV's and YG colors instead of coloring each leaf and flower. Then, each got a coating of Diamond Stickles. The wreath die behind the image is from Memory Box.
Other embellishments include flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts, Pearl Stick pin from Pizazz Aplenty, Tulle tied into a bow from my stash and Swarovski crystals in burgundy from Jolee. The sentiment is an epoxy sticker from Heidi Grace and I attached it to ivory iridescent cardstock then attached to my card.
Thanks so much for visiting and for your kind comments. Now take a hop over to the STAMPTACULAR CHALLENGE BLOG and see how the Design Team has interpreted this sketch... then we hope you will join us with your creation!
