Some Bunny Loves You- Little Darlings Inspiration

     Happy Sunday!  Today is my first post on the Little Darlings Design Team Inspiration blog. Each design team member features a new stamp or digital paper collection from the Little Darlings Store hoping to inspire you to create along with us!  If you don't subscribe to our inspirations blog, why not hop over and add your email so you don't miss each post!
     For my card, I colored up a new Winter 2013 Saturated Canary rubber stamp, "Honey".  I just love those pleats in her skirt - so much fun to color!  I colored her with copic markers, but had to use some prisma color pencils as my E's were not playing nice.. again! (see note below).

       The design paper is Bo Bunny's "Little Miss"- all from the same paper pad. I just love how easily it all coordinates.  The edges of all the papers are distressed with Brushed Courduroy Distress ink.  The cardstock is from Bazzill. Crinkled seam binding is from Live and Love Crafts and the flowers are a mix from WOC and my stash.  The little butterflies are made from excess cardstock and a MS butterfly punch.  The peach lace and pleated green ribbon are also from my stash.

     I polka-dotted (is that a word?) her stockings with a white sharpie paint pen and added some Glamour Dust here and there.  Pebbles blue chalk shadows the image. The tag sentiment is from Little Darlings Warm Fuzzies sentiments called "Tag Alongs" stamped with Peeled Paint distress ink.

     NOTE: Along with many of you, I have been having issues with some of the same "E" copics (most notably E29. 25 and 13) - they blob all over and lift color and changing/cleaning the nibs is not fixing the issue.  Because I have wasted a lot of good copic paper and become increasingly frustrated, I sought some advice from the "experts" out there on FB and other groups and many have raved about the Shin Han Touch Twin Markers. (Suzanne Dean loves them, and that's all I need to hear, as she says she has not had the "E" issue..) so I just purchased a few from 7 Kids College Fund to substitute for the problem "E"s. They can be used along with my copics and, by the way, the rest of my copics are just great!  I hope to get my new markers soon and I will let you know how it goes!  If you are interested, I just began another Pinterest board on these markers complete with fabulous color "recipes"HERE!  Thanks to all the talented ladies who put these recipes together for all of us to learn what colors to purchase and what those crazy numbers mean!!
